1. Linking to a Validation Page
Prior to building a link to a Validation Page, you must be certain that your page is in the Daily Page Registration
system and, through your Registry, has been Validated. Once that it is done, the following HTML code template can be placed
at your web site.
In this case, you need to replace THE_URL with the URL of the page to be validated. Note, the URL must be specified EXACTLY as it is within the Daily Page Registration System otherwise
an error message will result. Of course, the text (or image) used for the link can be any that you specify - the above is
just an example.
The location of the JavaScript normally is placed within the header section of an HTML page while the actual link to the
validation page can be placed anywhere.
Below are some Seals that subscribers have found useful. Subscribers may also create their own artwork to link
to their validation pages and Certificate Code entries.
The use of the JavaScript PopUp window is not necessary but recommended.
2. Linking to a Certificate Code Entry
All that is needed to view the data contained in a certificate code entry is to
link to the authentication page. Use the code in the text box below to perform
the link.
In this case, substitute CODE for the certificate code for the entry that
you want to display.
3. Linking to a Certificate Image
Each certificate code in the NRS Certificate Database may be associated with an image
that is generated by the system. To display the image, simply call the image generator
with the certificate code embedded in the URL.
The HTML code below would display the certificate image in a pop-up window associated with the code
CODE.
In this case, simply replace the world CODE with the certificate code of the item you wish to
have displayed. The link will create a pop-up window which will be used to display a JPEG image of
the certificate.
